Arlo Blake is a fictional character in the Regents Walk comic series. He is of African American descent. The Blake family has been in the area for around 30 years. Arlo's primary interest is video games. He is one of the twelve Mains.

A student at Widow's Perch Elementary, Arlo grew up right next to his cousin Cody's house within biking distance of the school, not far from Main Street. He has been playing video games since age four, and has his very own NES.

Arlo has a large family, and has an older brother and sister, and a younger sister. He is often at the mercy of his cousin Cody's aggressive and vindictive nature.

Big Blue (Chapter One)

Arlo attends Mrs. Hambridge's class, along with his cousin Cody. He introduces her also when Ms. Goodwin calls on him. After school, when one of his parents picks him and his brother up, Zeke attacks him with a noogie, as is typical. He and Cody are computer buddies during the computer class later.

He later takes over Aubrey's role after his dad removes him from the play, as the "Indian Chief" who shake hands with Ethan.

Appearances In Stories

In School, he is among a group of first graders that is being led by his brother Zeke, who is in the safety patrol—and gets called dumb by him for not being able to find his class. Once in class, his cousin also makes fun of him. Later, in a sharing group with Channing, Ethan, and Gladys, he has a carved wooden dog toy that he trades for Ethan's robot toy, which he then refuses to trade with Channing.

Arlo has something of a mostly one-sided rivalry with his next-door cousin, and because they're the same age and share a class together, her insistence on bugging him is only going to get worse. Still, they do get along just enough to still be friends. Most of the time.
